From Satisfaction to Impact: Trying on an Assessment Framework

Thursday, April 27 | 12:00 p.m. Eastern / 9:00 a.m. Pacific

Fees: Free for ACL Members / $25 for non-members

Are you new to measuring the impact of your consortium’s efforts? Or have you been looking for a new way to organize and understand the difference you are—or hope you are—making? The ACL Virtual Professional Development Committee invites you to join a new conversation.

To kick off this year’s “Measuring Impact” series, Kiernan Mathews (COACHE) and Irene Burgess (PCLA) will lead this rather informal "show and tell" session about applying assessment frameworks to measure the success of consortial activities. Kiernan will introduce the four-level Kirkpatrick model and ask the audience to consider where it works and where it falls short for measuring consortium impact. Irene will apply this framework to an upcoming PCLA Department Chair Training Workshop through discussion with Kiernan. As a result of participating in this interactive session, participants will be able to explain the assessment cycle and the levels of assessment affiliated with Kirkpatrick’s model, and have at least one idea of how an assessment framework such as this could positively affect their office. (Once you register, you will receive information--a handout--and a login link for the webinar.)
